The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT/ESCAP), in partnership with the State Examination Center (SEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is organizing a national training on Information Security and Privacy, scheduled for 4-5 October 2023.

The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT/ESCAP), in partnership with the Ministry of Technology and Communications (MTC), is organizing a national training on Digital Government and Transformation and Information Security and Privacy, scheduled for 18-22 September 2023. 

The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT/ ESCAP), in cooperation with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Indonesia and University of Indonesia, is organizing the National Training on Frontier ICTs for Sustainable Development from 30 August to 01 September 2023 in Cikarang. The training aims to deepen understanding among participants on frontier ICT trends, particularly Artificial Intelligence, and identify key measures and policy directions for their effective applications in promoting sustainable development. 

The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT/ESCAP), in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and in collaboration with the Digital Economy Promotion Agency and the Research Center of Communication and Development Knowledge Management, is co-organizing the Training on Empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs and Older Persons through ICT at the Center for Quality of Life Development and Career Promotion for the Elderly in Nakhon Phanom Province.

The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology of the Republic of Maldives and the Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT Development of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) will organize a Webinar on the Maldives Privacy and Personal Data Protection Act Draft (principles, rights, and other key concepts).

The webinar aims to present the draft bill to the public and enhance their understanding of data privacy and protection.

On May 18, 2023, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Agency for Enterprise Development (AED), in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), the Vietnam Women's Union, and the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, organized a training course called " Digital skills with policy makers" as part of the project " Catalyzing Women’s Entrepreneurs: Creating a Gender-Responsive Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (CWE).

On April 27, 2023, the  Agency for Enterprise Development (AED) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Viet Nam, in collaboration with the Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT-ESCAP), the Vietnam Women's Union, and the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, organized a training course called "Women Entrepreneurs and the Application of Digital Skills in Business" as part of the ESCAP project " Catalyzing Women’s Entrepreneurship: Creating a Gender-Responsive Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (CWE). The program is funded by the Global Affairs Canada.

In an effort to strengthen the capacity of women entrepreneurs in Northern Thailand in using digital technologies in their businesses, APCICT, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security and the Digital Economy Promotion Agency, will conduct a 2-day training on e-commerce and digital marketing for women entrepreneurs from 1 to 2 June, 2023.

In strengthening the capacities of government officials from ministries and departments responsible for disaster risk management, The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT) in partnership with the World Food Programme and Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration and in collaboration with the Geoinformatics Center from Asian Institute of Technology and ITC-University of Twente will conduct training from 23-25 May 2023 in Sri Lanka.
