The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT) has launched the online course for "The Ethics of AI" on the APCICT Virtual Academy.
The module offers an ethical framework for AI policy, focusing on reliability, trust, and cultural respect. It addresses AI challenges and provides policy guidance using real-world examples. The module aims to guide the ethical development and use of AI systems, emphasizing policy and regulatory implications. It treats ethics as a dynamic basis for assessing AI technologies throughout their life cycle, impacting decision-making, employment, social interaction, healthcare, education, media, information access, personal data, and security.
