Tran Duc Lai, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, MIC, pledged to have all eight Academy modules translated into Vietnamese by 19 May.

Another new training course, Academy Module 9 - ICT and Disaster Risk Reduction, is also being developed and will be launched later in the year. The Academy currently consists of eight training modules covering a variety of ICT for development topics. This is the first time APCICT will utilize a virtual platform to organize such a workshop. The event is expected to see participation from Academy partners, government officials and other stakeholders from a number of countries.
