Co-organized by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) of Thailand, the Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT) under UNESCAP, and MicroSave Consulting (MSC), the side event will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders, including policymakers and practitioners from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand – four major Asian economies with a combined population of more than 900 million women.
The side event’s participants and benefactors include government and private-sector participants, multilateral and bilateral organizations, UN agencies, female entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, philanthropic organizations, fintech companies, financial service providers, business development service agencies, and independent experts. Stakeholders will engage in discussions on opportunities, bottlenecks, and critical strategic interventions to enable women entrepreneurs to participate in, benefit from meaningfully, and foster resilience to sustain and grow in the digital economy.
