Viet Nam National Training on Open Data Policy Framework in the Digital Economy

The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT/ESCAP), in partnership with the Information and Communication Public Management Institute (ICI) of Viet Nam, is organizing an online national training programme on Open Data Policy Framework in the Digital Economy, scheduled for 28-29 November 2023.

The training aims to deepen understanding among government officials and key stakeholders about open data policy using the 3 metrics of policy framework, governance, and implementation at the national level. The training will also delve into the "Open Government Partnership," OECD, Latin American Open Data Initiative, and ASEAN, all of which have already established global standards and provisions. Some programs and cases will also be highlighted to demonstrate how these entities are effectively engaging with each other to resolve such issues.
