Sixteenth Session of the Governing Council of APCICT/ESCAP

The Sixteenth Session of the APCICT Governing Council was held virtually on 25 November 2021.

The Session brought together the nine Council members - Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Russian Federation, Sri Lanka, Thailand and the Republic of Korea, host country - to review the administration, financial status and progress of implementation of the Centre’s programmes. 

The meeting discussed how the Centre can enhance the delivery and impact of its capacity building programmes in the region. It examined new and emerging ICT capacity building needs to which the Centre can respond through training, technical assistance and knowledge resources. The Council also provided advice and strategic direction on the Centre's workplan for 2022.
