AI Essential for Policymakers and Civil Servants

The AI Essentials for Policymakers and Civil Servants programme is organized by APCICT/ESCAP in collaboration with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia to strengthen the capacity of policymakers and senior officials to govern and strategically guide the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). As AI technologies—particularly Generative and Agentic AI—continue to evolve rapidly, there is an increasing need for informed leadership to ensure their responsible, ethical, and effective use in support of sustainable development.
