The training will be based on APCICT/ESCAP’s Academy Module on Realizing Data-Driven Governance, which aims to inform policymakers on the role of accurate, accessible, timely and reliable data in enhancing governance, formulating policies and strategies, and delivering services. It emphasizes the role of data to support evidence-based policymaking, and in implementing and monitoring progress on the SDGs. Policymakers will be able to appreciate the key issues that would facilitate data-driven governance as well as identify its key enabling policies.
