To support enhanced cooperation between Incheon Metropolitan City and international organizations, on Thursday, 30 October 2014, UN-APCICT participated in the Incheon International City Forum held at Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Republic of Korea.
Attended by 300 people from international organizations, academia, public officials, journalists and Incheon citizens and students, the forum aimed to identify ways for better collaboration between international organizations and the city to ensure the continued growth of Incheon City as the hub for international organizations. It also sought to enhance Incheon citizens’ understanding of the current activities of the international organizations based in their city.ns.
To support the forum’s objectives, APCICT made a presentation on the Center and its activities as well as installed an exhibition booth for citizens and students to approach for more detailed information on the organization and its work. APCICT also moderated a panel discussion on how Incheon City and international organizations could cooperate for the co-prosperity of the local community and the hosted organizations.
