UN-APCICT Organizes Third Session of the Governing Council
The Third Session of the Governing Council of APCICT was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on 9 December 2008. Elected representatives from Bangladesh, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Republic of Korea and Thailand reviewed the Centre’s work programme and achievements, as well as discussed the way forward.
At the Third Session, APCICT reported on its administration and financial status, and presented the Centre’s work programme and achievements since the Second Session of the Governing Council. This Third Session also discussed APCICT’s Strategy Plan 2009-2010 and its ICT human resource development strategies.
Following the Session, the Governing Council members participated in the very first official national level roll-out of the Academy of ICT Essentials for Government Leaders in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
