UN-APCICT supports Myanmar ICTD capacity building for senior government officers

On 14-24 July UN-APCICT will conduct a two-week capacity building workshop on ICT for development (ICTD) for senior government officials in Pyin Oo Lwin, Upper Myanmar. The training is part of an eight-week Government Executive Officials Management course and it will cover the first six modules of UN-APCICT’s Academy of ICT Essentials for Government Leaders.

Initiated by the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, all senior government officials will undergo intensive management training. The Union Civil Service Board of Myanmar (UCSB), which is the country’s national institute for selection and training civil servants, has been tasked for this purpose, and has requested the United Nations Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (UN-APCICT) to develop and deliver a customized ICTD training programme.

 

 

On 14-24 July UN-APCICT will conduct a two-week capacity building workshop on ICT for development (ICTD) for senior government officials in Pyin Oo Lwin, Upper Myanmar. The training is part of an eight-week Government Executive Officials Management course for 30 government officials at the Director General and Deputy Director General-level. This will be the fourth training conducted in the country and it will cover the first six modules of UN-APCICT’s Academy of ICT Essentials for Government Leaders.
