Workshop on the Enhancement of ICT Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities

Some 400 million people with disabilities live in the Asia-Pacific region. The majority of them are excluded from many social opportunities, including access to information and communication technologies (ICTs). This four-day workshop aims to review relevant global norms and developments of ICT accessibility for persons with disabilities; formulate strategies for enhancing ICT accessibility for persons with disabilities; and discuss a regional ICT accessibility guildeline for persons with disabilities.
