UN-APCICT/ESCAP Newsletter Issue 2

Building upon the achievements of its flagship “Academy of ICT Essentials for Government Leaders” (Academy) programme which has been launched in 26 countries as well as in other regions such as Africa, this year APCICT will further expand the programme, develop new training modules, promote localization of the content into more languages, and support institutionalization into national capacity building frameworks. APCICT is also working with regional partners to roll-out its newest flagship initiative targeting youth, the “Turning Today’s Youth into Tomorrow’s Leaders” programme and implement its “Primer Series on ICTD for Youth” (Primer Series) in institutions of higher-learning across the region.
